Tekk Trainer is a workout tracker for people who are serious about their workouts. It is new kind of workout tracker. We shed the notion that a tracking your progress means filling out endless little forms on a tiny screen.
Last year I started working out again after a 2 year haiatus. I started myself out on a 12 week “get fit” program. A serious program, something that I couldn’t possibly just remember in my head. I don’t know what I was thinking, it was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But 12 weeks later I had lost 14 pounds and was sporting some definition in the ab area. I had never seen that before!
This “serious” program incorporated several different workout strategies including varying the rest time, repetitions and weight. Some days I would be doing high repetitions at low weights with long rest, other days I would be doing low repetitions at high weights with short rest. I never did the same workout twice in a row, in fact the weekly routines switched up every two weeks. So to keep track of everything I kept a small sheet of paper in my pocket with my entire routine on it, but even that didn’t help me keep track of when I should start my next set or how many repetitions I had just done. I had no way of seeing my progress.
Tekk Trainer is the answer to these problems.

Streamlined interface
What a shock! Where are the fields to fill out? There are none. No clutter, just a simple interface with all the information you need to work out. How long should I be resting, how much weight will I be lifting, and how many times.
Grid based adjustment system
There are no wheels to turn just an incremental grid based adjustment system. When you need to enter in how much weight you’ve pressed or how many times you’ve pressed them, tap the appropriate symbol and a grid will appear giving you access to 24 different values adjustments. Much quicker than any wheel and easier to maneuver than the built in keyboard or numberpad.
Inline Help
If at anytime you don’t know what something is, just triple tap the screen for help labels and triple tap again to make then go away.
Set start and warning timers
How much time you rest is important! Of course you can do 20 more reps if you wait long enough! Keeping your rest time consistent lets you compare yesterdays workout with todays more accurately.
We provide two audio tones to assist you. A “get ready” warning tone will play 10 seconds to let you know it’s almost time to start your set. You can wiggle your way into a comfortable position at this point. When it’s time, a whistle will blow and you can press away!
When done with your set, simply double tap the screen to move on to the next rest.
